Rabee Hanzla
I founded The Margin and write its field notes. I'm a fractional CTO and AI systems architect, and I run MELIURA LTD.
I'm Rabee Hanzla, the founder of The Margin, the family and life organizer made by my company, MELIURA LTD. I design and build the product, and I built it first for my own household. I also write the field notes, the build-in-public series about how it was made, what broke and what changed because of it. Everything published on this site goes out under my name.
Outside The Margin I work as a fractional CTO and AI systems architect, helping companies plan and build software and AI systems. My own site is rabee.dev.
What I write about here#
The field notes cover the parts of the product you can check for yourself: how the app keeps working with no signal, how Margin Intelligence decides what it may remember, how the household features were designed, and the mistakes along the way. Each one is dated, and a chapter I revise later says so.
I also write the guides on this site, like the allowance by age calculator, the chore chart by age and the Cozi alternative comparison. If you want to know who is behind the company, is The Margin legit? has the register entry and the rest.
