Common questions
How does the trial work?
One trial, 7 days, no card. Start it from inside the app with one tap and you get the whole of Pro; when it ends you simply drop back to Free — nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. If you decide to subscribe, that's a normal paid plan from day one, card details handled by Stripe.
Can I really use it free forever?

What counts as an AI action?
One typical request to the assistant ≈ one action (about 25k tokens of work). Heavier requests — planning a whole week, deep reorganizations — consume a few. Your meter always shows where you stand.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted, ever. Your data stays on your devices and in your account; anything over the free limits becomes read-only until you're back under them or upgrade again.
How does the Family plan bill?
One price for the household — up to six people, no per-seat math. Kids' accounts are included.
What can other people in my workspace see?
A workspace is a shared room. Everyone in it sees its notes, whiteboards, checklists, expenses and habits. Boards are the exception — those are per-board, so you only see the boards you've been added to. Nobody joins without accepting an invitation, and anything you want kept to yourself goes in your Vault: encrypted per person, invisible to co-members and to the AI until you unlock it. If you want a space of your own, make a separate workspace.
Can my AI assistant really use it?
Yes — that's the point. Pro and above expose 166 MCP tools to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client, with OAuth. Your agent plans your week; The Margin keeps the record.
