The rest of life

Take a break

A tiny arcade game about catching your tasks before they hit the floor. It keeps score, and it keeps your streak off your conscience.

The gamepad icon in the header opens Catch the Tasks: everyday to-dos ("Call mom", "Drink water", "Fix the bug") fall from the top of the screen and you catch them before they land. Arrow keys on a keyboard, touch on a phone. It keeps score. It ends with Game Over. That is the whole thing.

Why a productivity app ships a game

Because breaks are part of work, and a break that stays inside the app is one you actually come back from. Ninety seconds of catching falling chores resets your head far better than ninety seconds of a feed designed to keep you.

There is no reward wired to it, no streak to protect, and nothing it unlocks. It affects your data not at all.

Where it lives

The gamepad icon in the top bar, on every surface, or Take a break from the command palette. On a phone it plays in portrait with touch controls and fits the screen without scrolling.
